About

Pack 712 is located in Aurora/Oswego, Illinois and is part of the Maramech Hill District in the Three Fires Council.  We are chartered by the New Song Community Church located in Aurora’s far East side.

Today we serve both The Wheatlands and Homestead elementary schools. Of course, anyone who is interested is welcome to join our pack. In fact, within the Pack 712 ranks, there are several home-schooled and Wolf Crossing Elementary School boys who have chosen to join our Pack.

As of October 2011, our pack had over 90 registered active scouts and nearly 30 registered and trained leaders.

Pack 712 has earned the Boy Scouts of America Quality Unit award for many years.  We were also awarded the Unit of Distinction award in it’s final year of eligibility.  The Unit of Distinction Award is a high honor.  Only one other pack in our district had earned it the same year we did.

We provide an active summertime pack program and have earned the National Summertime Pack Award for the past three years and anticipate earning it again this year.

Note to Parents- Without your help and the help from our leaders, the events would not

be possible.  Please find it in your hearts to volunteer.  We are a VERY active Pack and could use your help.  Please contact Troy Wood Committee chairperson if you are interested in donating some of your time.
